About

Now

I'm Director of Solution Advisory for Dayforce in Asia, leading the pre-sales function across Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and India. My team works with enterprise customers to position Dayforce's HCM platform - everything from payroll and workforce management to strategic workforce planning. I spend most of my time coaching solution advisors, running strategic accounts, and trying to figure out how AI should change the craft of pre-sales.

Background

I came into HCM through a winding route. I ran a small Banshee bikes distribution business while finishing a mechanical engineering degree at UNITEN, then spent my first years out of school in corporate strategy at Sunway - one of Malaysia's largest conglomerates - working on M&A integrations. In 2013 I co-founded an EdTech startup called Incentify, which taught me what it takes to build something from zero. I've done a lot of uncomfortable work to get things off the ground, and I think it shows up in how I operate today.

I moved into HCM pre-sales in 2015 at PageUp, then spent four years at SAP SuccessFactors as a Senior Solutions Consultant and Business Development Lead for SEA, earning Winners Circle recognition in 2019.

In September 2021 I joined Dayforce as Asia's first pre-sales hire. My job was to build the function from zero - the playbooks, the demo assets, the regional positioning, the team. I was promoted to Senior Manager in 2023 and to Director in October 2025.

Personal

I live in Singapore with my wife and two daughters. Outside work I spend a lot of time on my bike, I'm a specialty coffee nerd working on my V60 technique, and I'm slowly introducing my four-year-old to cycling - she's watched a few races with me and just learned to ride.
